Thanks Giving in Huili Nursery Nantong

The reason why the starry sky is beautiful is because in the infinite universe, no matter how darkness spreads, there are always shining stars. Life is unpredictable, but with a grateful heart, we can discover the beauty around us, just like the stars in the sky, making our journey of life brighter and warmer.

Last year, the children and other members of Huili community experienced a meaningful Thanks Giving event together, and experienced different ways to express gratitude in life.

As summer fades and autumn arrives, today we once again welcome the annual Thanks Giving event. Members of the Huili Nursery community gathered to express their gratitude to each other in various ways.

In the poetic and charming autumn, the ever-changing nature is like a beautiful painting. Children used plants from nature to create beautiful gifts for those they wanted to thank. They carefully selected flowers with various meanings to make bouquets and crowns, expressing gratitude to their friends, family, loved ones and to nature.

In addition to bouquets and crowns, the children also worked together to create Huili community's family tree! The Huili family is growing and developing just like a beautiful oak tree.

In the Art Corner, children used various open resources to create their own personal artworks, expressing gratitude to themselves or a gift to those who help us at school. 

There are countless ways to express gratitude, but we believe that the most direct and simple way is to express it face-to-face, which can touch the heart more deeply. Today, the children did not hesitate to express their gratitude to their friends and family in front of the camera! Before the activity started, the children also carefully recorded their thoughts on who they wanted to express gratitude to and how they wanted to do it.

Today, we also set up a Thanks Giving Kitchen, where children and their families used autumn ingredients to make delicious snacks and share the joy together.

In the warm autumn sunshine, the children also led their families to enjoy leisurely outdoor moments.

At Huili Nursery, we hope to help children develop a grateful heart and a habit of expressing gratitude. We encourage our pupils to be thankful for the company of their families, the support of their friends, the help from those who have assisted them, the setbacks and difficulties that have helped them grow, and the wonders of nature and the universe. We believe that cultivating gratitude can help children pay more attention to the goodness in life, deepen their understanding of the meaning of life, and cherish every moment in life. It is like the stars in the night sky, lighting up the path of life and making life more beautiful.
