When I was a child, I often wished to grow up quickly. Now, I occasionally think "if I could go back in time...". It seems that we are easily bound by the past and pulled by the future, gradually losing the present in the process of moving forward or backward.
On this year's Children's Day, we hope to create an opportunity to invite friends from our Huili community to join us to celebrate in the form of community sharing. In this moment, we encourage adults to put down their busy phones and feel their children's childhood, while also trying to enter into the joyful and carefree state of their own childhood.
What interesting reactions will occur when the sharing of our childhoods?

The original intention of this event is to hope that every friend can discover the traces of their childhood in the event and be willing to embark on new experiences. Therefore, we try to integrate different elements into the carnival.

Board Games
During the preparation phase of the Children’ Day Carnival, we invited children to brainstorm and explore the games they wanted to share with their family and friends. Both children and adults discussed their own ideas and game preferences. Repeatedly trying in practise is an important means for children to understand the development and change rules of things at this stage. Therefore, after the teachers collected the ideas about games from the discussion, they immediately began to search for corresponding game materials and started exploring with the children.
At present, children are teaching adults how to operate different tabletop game materials and play games according to certain rules. Who says that adults must know more than children?
Of course, in the summer, how could you miss sharing delicious food and ice cream with friends? When you have played to your heart's content, find a comfortable space and sit together with family and friends. At this time, food, endless conversations, and each other are the best companions.
Each friend and family in the community has their own unique style and imprint. Sometimes these unique characteristics are also reflected in the way we eat. We hope to use the Carnival in the community as an opportunity to let everyone understand each other more in a more life-oriented way, starting from specific small things. Therefore, we invited each family to prepare a dish and share it with friends in the community.
As the summer sharing time slowly comes to an end, we invite each family to pick a sincere "blessing" from the fruit stand next to the morning check-in with their children and take it home.
Although today's sharing time is short, we hope that the feeling of sharing with friends in the community can continue along with the long summer days. See you again on the next Children's Day.
